Ramapo Police Arrest Intoxicated Driver During Early Morning DWI Patrol

In the early hours of Saturday morning, the Ramapo Police Department intensified its traffic safety efforts with an additional patrol focused on DWI enforcement.

Shortly after 1:30 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle for traffic violations. During the investigation, it was determined that the 25-year-old male driver was operating the vehicle while intoxicated.

He was arrested on the scene and brought to Ramapo Police Headquarters for processing. The suspect was later released with an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Town of Ramapo Justice Court later this month.

Ramapo Police emphasize their continued commitment to reducing intoxicated and impaired driving to ensure the safety of all motorists.
