Ramapo Police Arrest Driver for DWI on Route 59 with Child in Vehicle

In the early morning hours of Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at approximately 2:37 a.m., Ramapo Police officers conducted a traffic stop on Route 59 for a vehicle speeding.

During the investigation, officers determined that the driver was operating the vehicle while intoxicated and had a child seated in the back. The operator was also found to be in possession of a controlled substance.

The driver was arrested at the scene and transported to Ramapo Police Department headquarters for processing.
