Ramapo Police Arrest Driver for Aggravated DWI After Crash on Spook Rock Road

Around 6:30 p.m. Sunday evening, the Ramapo Police Department responded to an MVA on Spook Rock Road near Route 202 after a driver struck a utility pole, causing significant damage, as Monsey Scoop reported on our social media platforms.

Following an investigation at the scene, officers determined that the driver was operating the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. The individual was arrested and charged under Vehicle and Traffic Law Sections 1192.2 and 1192.3, including Aggravated DWI for having a blood alcohol content of .18 or higher.

Police say the investigation remains ongoing.
