Ramapo Police Apprehend Suspect in Stolen Vehicle Incident

Ramapo Police successfully apprehended a male suspect involved in the theft of a vehicle reported stolen from 55 East Eckerson Rd. The event, which came to light just before 2:00 PM, involved the stolen vehicle being tracked live by its owner as it navigated the NYS Thruway towards Spring Valley.

The situation took a turn when the vehicle exited the Thruway and made its way into Spring Valley. This development prompted a coordinated response from both Spring Valley and Ramapo police departments. The collaboration culminated near Memorial Park in Spring Valley, where law enforcement was able to stop the vehicle and arrest the male driver.
