Ramapo Police and Chaverim of Rockland Investigating Repeat Burglary at Pupa Yeshiva

Early Thursday morning, a burglary was reported at the Pupa Yeshiva building on Widman Court, prompting an investigation by the Ramapo Police Department, the Rockland County Sheriff’s BCI unit, and Chaverim of Rockland.

Sources tell Monsey Scoop that the suspect, who managed to steal a few hundred dollars during this incident, had previously targeted the same Yeshiva just weeks ago. Following the first burglary, he was arrested with the assistance of Spring Valley Police and Chaverim of Rockland by the Ramapo Police Detective Squad. However, the suspect was released just yesterday due to New York State’s controversial bail reform laws.

The investigation into this latest burglary is ongoing, as authorities work to apprehend the suspect once again.
