Ramapo Highway Department Assists with Security at Skvere Hachnoses Sefer Torah Event

The Town of Ramapo Highway Department, under the leadership of Superintendent Fred Brinn, played a key role in ensuring the safety and security of thousands of participants at the Skvere Hachnoses Sefer Torah event in New Square. Highway department personnel worked tirelessly throughout the event, deploying large snow plow trucks to block roadways for crowd protection and traffic control.

Brinn himself was present in New Square, where he visited the event’s command center, met with village trustees, and toured local facilities. Reflecting on the significance of the occasion, he extended his heartfelt wishes to the Skverer Rebbe.

“I want to wish the Rebbe hatzlacha raba, mazel, and bracha on this momentous occasion. He should continue to have success and blessings in New Square and beyond, and may he be granted strength to lead the Skverer chassidim worldwide,” Brinn stated.

He also expressed appreciation for the strong collaboration between his department and the New Square community. “We were happy to assist with this event by supplying plow trucks to secure certain streets. It was an honor to work with New Square to help facilitate this special celebration.”
