Ramapo Braces for Brief Snow Squall and Gusty Winds, Says Supervisor Specht

In a morning update from the Office of Ramapo Town Supervisor Michael Specht, residents of Ramapo were advised of an incoming snow squall expected to hit the area today between 11 am and 3 pm. The Highway Department of Ramapo forecasts a brief but potentially intense period of moderate snow accompanied by gusty winds.

Although the snowfall is predicted to be less than half an inch, the squall could bring sudden, robust wind gusts. Southwestern winds are set to shift to the west in the afternoon, with speeds ranging from 15-25 mph and gusts possibly reaching 30-40 mph. However, these winds are expected to subside quickly by the evening.

Supervisor Specht urges residents to enjoy their Sunday while remaining cautious and safe during these weather conditions. The brief nature of the squall suggests minimal disruption, but citizens are advised to stay prepared for sudden changes in weather.
