A swift collaborative effort by Chaverim of Rockland volunteers and Hillcrest firefighters contained a large brush fire near Zuba Lane and Viola Road in Spring Valley.
Before the fire department’s arrival, Chaverim volunteers successfully prevented the fire from spreading.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
