Queens Man Charged in Fatal Bronx Crash That Killed Rockland Teen and Brooklyn Adult

A fatal crash in the Bronx has led to charges against Enrique Lopez, 23, of Queens, following the deaths of a teenager from Rockland County and an adult from Brooklyn. Lopez faces a series of charges including manslaughter, assault, and criminally negligent homicide.

The incident as reported by Monsey Scoop, caused by Lopez allegedly speeding and performing stunts in his 2013 Chrysler 3000, resulted in a collision with a fuel truck in Hunts Point. This reckless act claimed the lives of 15-year-old Sabrina Villa-Gomez from Nanuet and a 21-year-old Brooklyn resident, with 17-year-old Aaliyah Torres from Spring Valley sustaining critical injuries.

In the aftermath of the crash, Lopez’s driver’s license was suspended, and he is due in court in June to respond to the charges. The community, along with the victims’ families, is awaiting the judicial process, hoping for justice for the lost and injured.
