The Rockland County Planning Department has announced a series of five public workshops inviting residents to help shape the County’s long-term vision through the Envision Rockland Comprehensive Plan update.
The workshops, held throughout May and early June, will provide an opportunity for residents to share feedback on topics such as land use, zoning, housing, infrastructure, and economic development. Each session will begin with a brief presentation, followed by an interactive open house format where attendees can engage with various planning topics and speak directly with county representatives.
County Executive Ed Day encouraged public participation, stating that community input is vital to ensuring the County’s future reflects the needs and goals of its residents. “Together, we can create a vision that benefits generations to come,” he said.

All workshops will present the same content, allowing residents to attend the location most convenient for them. Materials from the sessions, along with an online feedback tool, will be available at www.envisionrockland.com, allowing those unable to attend in person to still participate.
