PUBLIC ALERT: Rockland Sheriff’s Office Warns of Phone Scam Using Spoofed Number

The Rockland County Sheriff’s Office is warning residents about a phone scam involving a fraudulent caller falsely claiming to represent the Sheriff’s Office.

If you receive a call from (845) 574-8661, do not answer or engage with the caller. Officials confirm this number does not belong to the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office. Residents are urged not to share any personal or financial information with the caller.
