Portion Of Congers Lake Trailway Closed Indefinitely For Repairs In Clarkstown

The Town of Clarkstown has announced that a section of the Congers Lake Trailway has been closed indefinitely to allow for necessary repairs.

According to town officials, the closure affects a portion of the west side of the trail between location markers 47 and 54, making that segment currently inaccessible to the public.

Signs have been posted at the trailway entrance near the dam and on the north side of the lake near Beckerle Lumber to notify residents and visitors of the closure. Officials are advising trail users to avoid the affected area until repairs are completed.
