Police Investigating Early Morning Stabbing Incident in Suffern

At approximately 4 AM, Suffern Police officers responded to a report of a stabbing at the intersection of Orange Avenue and Lafayette Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found a large crowd, including a male victim who had sustained stab wounds.

The victim received immediate treatment at the scene before being transported to Good Samaritan Hospital for further evaluation. He has since been discharged from the hospital.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the stabbing occurred during an altercation, and there is no ongoing threat to the public.

The Suffern Police Department’s Detective Bureau is seeking any information from community members who were in the area last night. Those with information are urged to contact the department at (845) 357-2300.
