PHOTOS & VIDEOS: Rockland County Celebrates Chanukkah with Annual Menorah Lighting

On Monday evening, Rockland County came together for the annual menorah lighting ceremony hosted by Chabad of Rockland. Held outside the Allison-Parris County Office Building in New City, the event attracted elected officials, community leaders, and residents who joined to celebrate the Festival of Lights.

The ceremony, which began at 5PM, featured the lighting of a towering menorah—a symbol of hope, unity, and the triumph of light over darkness. The evening’s program included speeches from local leaders and officials, who praised the community’s shared commitment to celebrating diversity and tradition.
