Members of a Mishnayos learning group led by Chestnut Ridge Trustee Rabbi Shmuli Fromovitz attended Thursday night’s Chestnut Ridge Village Board meeting at Village Hall, where they had the opportunity to observe local government in action and meet village officials.
The visit comes shortly after the group completed Seder Nezikin, marking more than three years of consistent learning together. During the meeting, participants gained a firsthand look at how village government operates, including discussions on local issues and municipal matters affecting residents.
Following the meeting, the group met with village officials and discussed the role of local government and public service in the community.
