In anticipation of his grandson’s upcoming chasuna, the Skvere Rebbe Shlita, visited the Tzion of his father the previous Skvere Rebbe ZT”L , maintaining a family tradition of davening and saying Tehilim before the marriage of each grandchild. The chasuna, set for Monday night, will unite the Skvere and Viznitz dynasties, as the choson is the son of HaRav Yaakov Yosef Hager Shlita, himself a son of the Viznitzer Rebbe of Monsey and son-in-law of the Skvere Rebbe. The chasuna is scheduled to take place at Rockland Community College, where preparations are well underway for the auspicious Chasuna.
Accompanying the Rebbe were a select group of yungerleit from the Skvere Monsey Kollel. This privilege, reserved for those who dedicate hours of continuous Torah learning, underscores the deep respect and honor associated with joining the Rebbe for such a significant occasion. The Skvere Monsey Kollel comprises approximately 100 yungerleit who engage in daily Torah study, embodying the values and commitment celebrated within the community as they joined the Rebbe at the Tzion of the Skvere Rebbe ZT”L.
