Belz Day Camp, under this summer’s theme of “Al Harirei Tzion”, held a beautiful and heartfelt Bekurim parade as a way of thanking Hashem and expressing their deep love for Eretz Yisroel.
Campers marched from the Belzer Cheder on North Cole Avenue to the Belzer Shul on Decatur Avenue, where a full reenactment took place. A stunning mizbeiach was set up, and Reb Chaim Itzkowitz took the role of Kohen Gadol, accepting the Bekurim in a scene filled with emotion and simcha.
Chaverim of Rockland ensured the safety of all participants along the route, providing pedestrian protection throughout the event.
It was a day filled with inspiration, achdus, and pride — as the next generation of Yiddishe kinderlach joyfully connected to their roots and Eretz Yisroel.
