The inaugural Skvere Kehilla Business Expo drew thousands of attendees to the Rockland County Community College ballroom this past Thursday. The groundbreaking event served as a hub for business networking and collaboration within the community.
New Square Mayor Izzy Spitzer was present throughout the day, personally welcoming elected officials and guests to the Skvere (New Square) First-Ever Business Expo. His warm reception added a personal touch to this milestone event.
Prominent figures, including the son’s of the Skvere Rebbe joined the crowd. Several distinguished elected officials were also in attendance, highlighting the event’s widespread importance. Among them were Assemblyman-Elect Aron Wieder, Senator Bill Weber, Rockland County Executive Ed Day, Rockland County District Attorney Tom Walsh, Congressman Mike Lawler’s District Director Rafi Silberberg, and Rockland County Sheriff Louis Falco, Deputy of the Village of Pomona Mendy Lasker, and Village of Spring Valley Trustee Yisroel Eisenbach.
During the event, Senator Bill Weber presented an empire award to Adler’s Insurance in recognition of their contributions and commitment to serving the community.
The expo provided a platform for local businesses to showcase their offerings while fostering connections among community members and leaders. The overwhelming turnout and diverse representation marked the event as a significant milestone for the Skvere community and beyond.
