A person was reported attempting to steal a package on Twin Avenue while holding a knife. Chaverim of Rockland, the Spring Valley Police Department, and the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene. Following an investigation, the individual stated the knife was being used to open what he believed was a discarded package and that he had no intention of stealing it.
