A person was shot multiple times near the intersection of South Franklin Street and Depew Avenue in Nyack. Orangetown Police, the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office, and Clarkstown Police are on the scene investigating. No suspect is in custody at this time. According to a witness, the suspect fled the scene on foot and is described as an African American male, approximately 5-foot-9, wearing a baseball cap, a dark shirt, and dark shorts.
