Pedestrian Struck Near Starbucks in New City: Accident Investigation Underway

A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle near the Starbucks at the intersection of S. Main St. and First St. in New City.

The victim was transported by EMS to Westchester Medical Center in serious condition.

The Clarkstown Police Department Accident Investigation Team is currently on the scene.

As a result, S. Main St. is closed from Twin Elms Ln. to Demarest Ave. Authorities are urging the public to avoid the area until further notice.
