Pearl River Resident Charged in Park Ridge, NJ Vandalism Incident

A Pearl River woman has been charged with criminal mischief after allegedly keying two vehicles, including one belonging to an 89-year-old diner patron, in the parking lot of the Ridge Diner in Park Ridge NJ.

According to Park Ridge Police Chief Joseph Rampolla, Jennifer Watkins, 42, of Pearl River, was caught on surveillance footage vandalizing a white SUV as she entered the diner and later damaging the elderly woman’s 2004 Acura TSX on her way out. The incident occurred between 11:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on January 31.

Police arrested Watkins on Monday, February 17, and released her pending a court hearing. Authorities are still seeking the owner of the white SUV that was also damaged.
