Pearl River Firefighters Receive Specialized “Man vs. Machine” Rescue Training {PHOTOS}

Pearl River Fire Department members participated in an advanced Man vs. Machine rescue training course today, instructed by P.L. Vulcan Fire Training Concepts LLC, a nationally recognized fire service training group.

During the session, firefighters learned a range of technical rescue skills designed to safely extricate individuals from complex entrapment situations. The hands-on class covered tools, tactics, and real-world scenarios that responders may encounter on emergency calls.

The department expressed its appreciation to P.L. Vulcan for providing the high-level instruction and enhancing the readiness of local firefighters.

Pearl River Hook & Ladder Co. #1 is also encouraging new membership. Anyone interested in joining is invited to stop by the firehouse on Thursday nights at 6:45 PM for more information and an application.
