Patient Rescued By Spring Hill EMS from Wooded Area Near Suffern Railroad Tracks

On Thursday evening, emergency personnel were dispatched to assist a patient with an injured ankle in a wooded area near the railroad tracks in Suffern. Upon arrival, units discovered the patient, who had an apparent fractured ankle.

To facilitate the patient’s extraction from the challenging terrain, Spring Hill EMS was called in with their specialized Gator vehicle. The patient was safely extricated from the woods and transported to the hospital in stable condition by Spring Hill EMS.

Rockland Paramedics and the Suffern Police Department were also present on the scene, ensuring the operation was carried out smoothly and efficiently. The collaborative efforts of all involved agencies ensured the patient received prompt and effective care.
