PALISADES PARKWAY: Fiery Multi-Vehicle Crash Between Exits 13 and 12 Shuts Down Southbound Lanes; One Lane Now Reopened

A serious multi-vehicle crash occurred Wednesday afternoon on the Palisades Parkway southbound between Exits 13 and 12, with one of the vehicles erupting in flames.

Emergency personnel from Rockland Hatzoloh, Spring Hill EMS, the New York State Police, and the Hillcrest Fire Department responded to the scene. Injuries were reported.

The southbound lanes were initially shut down due to the severity of the incident. As of 4:00 p.m., one lane has been reopened to traffic. Motorists are advised to exercise caution and expect delays in the area.
