ORANGETOWN: Four-Vehicle Crash Leaves One Critically Injured, Orangetown Police Investigating

The Orangetown Police Department is investigating a serious four-vehicle collision that occurred Thursday evening near Clausland Mountain Road and Tweed Boulevard in Upper Grandview.

According to police, the crash happened on December 4, 2025, at approximately 6:14 p.m., when a 2022 Dodge Ram 1500 driven by a 61-year-old Pearl River man was traveling east on Tweed Boulevard. As the driver attempted to make a right turn onto Clausland Mountain Road, his vehicle struck three northbound vehicles.

South Orangetown Ambulance Corps and Rockland Paramedics responded to the scene. The Dodge Ram driver was transported to Nyack Hospital and later airlifted to Westchester Medical Center, where he remains in critical condition. Another driver involved in the crash suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Nyack Hospital.
