A pedestrian was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle on Route 303 near the Subaru dealership at approximately 9:10 p.m. Saturday evening.
South Orangetown EMS responded to the scene and transported the victim to Nyack Hospital in critical condition. Orangetown Police closed Route 303 between South Greenbush Road and Stevens Way as officers conducted an accident investigation.
