Orangeburg Firefighters Respond to Oven Fire on Chapel Court

Earlier this morning, multiple fire departments responded to a reported structure fire at 4 Chapel Court after smoke was seen coming from the front door. Firefighters encountered light to moderate smoke conditions on the second floor and determined that the fire originated in an oven. The fire was quickly extinguished using dry chemical extinguishers, and Orange & Rockland was requested to the scene for the gas service.
