The office of Congressman Mike Lawler (NY-17) announced today that its district casework team has successfully closed more than 8,000 constituent cases, securing over $39 million in federal funds for residents across the Hudson Valley since Lawler took office in January 2023.
According to the announcement, Congressman Lawler’s team has assisted thousands of individuals and families throughout Rockland, Putnam, Dutchess, and Westchester Counties, helping constituents navigate a wide range of issues involving federal agencies. These include Social Security and Medicare benefits, veterans’ services, immigration matters, passport issues, disaster assistance, and federal tax concerns.
“Every case that comes through our office represents a real person who needs help, and we take that responsibility seriously,” Lawler said. “Whether it’s a senior trying to access Social Security, a veteran fighting for earned benefits, or a family navigating a federal agency, my team is committed to cutting through the confusion and delivering results.”
