NYS THRUWAY: Vehicle Fully Engulfed in Flames Southbound Between Exits 14B and 14; No Injuries Reported

Firefighters and other emergency personnel responded Sunday afternoon to a fully engulfed vehicle fire on the New York State Thruway Southbound between exits 14B and 14.

The fire broke out around 1:15 p.m., prompting a heavy response from the Tallman and Monsey Fire Departments, along with the New York State Police (NYSP). Crews quickly worked to extinguish the flames and secure the area. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Traffic was temporarily impacted as responders operated at the scene and cleared the wreckage.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
