Thursday evening at approximately 7:27 p.m., William P. Faist Ambulance Corps responded to an MVA in which a vehicle collided with another vehicle before ending up in the Ramapo River. Faist members arrived within two minutes of being dispatched and were joined by Hatzoloh EMS, Rockland Paramedic Services, Tallman Fire Department, and Hillburn Fire Department. The driver was able to self-extricate before emergency personnel arrived and was treated at the scene before being transported by paramedics to Westchester Medical Center for further evaluation and treatment.
