NYS THRUWAY: Three-Car Accident Between Exits 14B and 14A Southbound Causes Heavy Traffic

A multi-vehicle accident involving three cars, including one that overturned, has occurred on the southbound New York State Thruway between exits 14B and 14A at approximately  4PM on Sunday afternoon . Emergency personnel, including Faist EMS, Rockland Paramedics, the Monsey Fire Department, the South Spring Valley Fire Department, and the New York State Police, are on the scene.

Injuries have been reported. Drivers are advised to expect significant delays and avoid the area if possible.

  1. I saw the driver in the car that is flipped over fly past me and my friends in seconds before this accident happened. He must have been driving about 95 mph.
    We all commented on how he was going to cause an accident and sure enough it appears he did. People need to slow down! I hope everyone is ok.
