A fatal MVA occurred on the northbound New York State Thruway between Exits 15 and 15A claimed one life early Sunday morning.
At approximately 1:15 a.m., emergency personnel were dispatched to the scene of the serious crash. Responding agencies included Hatzoloh EMS, Spring Hill EMS, Faist EMS, Rockland Paramedics, Hillburn Fire Department, Tallman Fire Department, and New York State Police.
One patient suffered severe traumatic injuries and was pronounced deceased. Two additional patients sustained injuries and were transported for medical treatment in stable condition.
New York State Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
Chevra Kadisha services were not needed in this tragic incident.
