The New York State Thruway Authority has issued a travel advisory for motorists traveling northbound on I-87/I-287 in Rockland County. A new traffic pattern is now in effect near Exit 15 (New Jersey – I-287 – NJ Route 17 South) to accommodate ongoing bridge removal and reconstruction work.
Drivers can still access Exit 15 via the right lane after passing through the work zone. Motorists are urged to reduce speed and exercise caution when traveling through the area.
