NYACK: House Fire on Route 9W Draws Heavy Multi-Agency Response

A structure fire broke out at approximately 2:50 a.m. Wednesday at 1046 Route 9W in Nyack, prompting a large multi-agency emergency response.

The Nyack Fire Department responded to the scene, joined by mutual aid from the Central Nyack, Piermont, and West Nyack Fire Departments. Upon arrival, crews found the residence fully engulfed in flames and began an aggressive exterior attack.

Standby coverage during the incident was provided by the Valley Cottage and Pearl River Fire Departments.

Multiple EMS agencies were also dispatched, including Nyack EMS, South Orangetown EMS, and Rockland Paramedics. Law enforcement on scene included the Orangetown Police Department and the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
