North Rockland Businesses Show Support for Stony Point Ambulance Members

Over the past week, businesses throughout North Rockland—particularly along the Route 9W corridor—have come together to show appreciation for the volunteers of Stony Point Ambulance Corps. More than $400 worth of gift cards, certificates, and discounted services were donated by local establishments to recognize members who have gone above and beyond in their service.

Many of these tokens of appreciation have already been distributed to the surprised and grateful volunteers.

With local businesses continuing to face challenges from ongoing construction in the area, their generosity carries even greater significance. Stony Point Ambulance noted that many of its members are loyal customers of these establishments, and encouraged residents to return the favor by shopping local and supporting those who support first responders.

“Thank you, Stony Point and North Rockland, for always standing behind your first responders,” the agency said.
