New York State Senator Bill Weber Launches Five Towns of Rockland Red Cross Blood Drive Challenge

New York State Senator Bill Weber is spearheading the “Five Towns of Rockland Red Cross Blood Drive Challenge,” encouraging residents to participate in a friendly competition to see which town can donate the most blood. The primary goal of the challenge is to help save lives by boosting blood donations across the region.

Senator Weber urges all residents to participate, saying, “Help your town be crowned the winner, but more importantly, help save lives.”

The blood drive schedule is as follows:

  • July 30th: Town of Ramapo
    • Location: Finkelstein Memorial Library, 24 Chestnut Street, Spring Valley, NY 10977
    • Time: 10:30 AM – 04:30 PM
  • July 31st: Town of Orangetown
    • Location: Orangetown Town Hall, 26 W Orangeburg Rd, Orangeburg, NY 10962
    • Time: 09:00 AM – 03:00 PM
  • August 1st: Town of Stony Point
    • Location: Stony Point Senior Center, 19 Club House Ln, Stony Point, NY 10980
    • Time: 10:00 AM – 03:00 PM
  • August 2nd: Town of Clarkstown
    • Location: Clarkstown Town Hall, 10 Maple Ave, New City, NY 10956
    • Time: 12:00 PM – 05:00 PM
  • August 3rd: Town of Haverstraw
    • Location: Town of Haverstraw, 1 Rosman Rd, Garnerville, NY 10923
    • Time: 10:00 AM – 03:00 PM

Residents are encouraged to visit the respective locations on the scheduled dates to donate blood.
