New York State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli Applauds Rockland’s Fiscal Turnaround at Business Luncheon

New York State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli served as the keynote speaker at the Rockland Business Association’s membership luncheon on Thursday, held at The Nyack Seaport. During his address, DiNapoli commended County Executive Ed Day for his leadership in transforming Rockland County’s financial standing from a staggering $138 million deficit to a strong double-digit surplus.

In recognition of his invaluable guidance and service to the county, County Executive Ed Day presented Comptroller DiNapoli with a Certificate of Recognition, highlighting his role in helping Rockland County “Right our Fiscal Ship.”

Additionally, a check in the amount of $1,099.61 was presented from the Office of the Comptroller to Montefiore Nyack Hospital for unclaimed funds.
