In preparation for the highly anticipated wedding scheduled for Monday afternoon, Reb Yaakov Yosef Goldklang, the long-time Ershte Hilf Coordinator in New Square, met with Viznitzer Mayor Eli Pinkasowitz and other prominent Viznitzer askanim on Wednesday. The meeting, held in advance of the upcoming chasuna, focused on coordinating efforts between the Viznitzer and Skvere Kehila’s to ensure the smooth execution of the massive chasuna. As previously reported by Monsey Scoop, the chasuna is expected to draw a large crowd and will take place at the RCC.
In addition to the strategic meeting, Ramapo Police were on hand Wednesday to oversee the delivery of critical infrastructure for the chasuna. This included delivery of bleachers, tables, tents, barricades, cones, and a massive stage for the chuppah, as well as Ershte Hilf’s command center and a NSPS Security booth all being set up at the RCC campus. The preparations mark the beginning of what is expected to be a historic and highly attended chasuna, drawing thousands to the area.
