NEW SQUARE: Truman Avenue Sidewalk Improvement Project to Begin

The Village of New Square has announced that a sidewalk improvement project will begin over the next several days along Truman Avenue, bringing several pedestrian safety upgrades to the area.

The project includes replacing sidewalks on the side of the street opposite the shul, installing new sidewalks from just beyond the parking lot near the kollel building to the middle of the block, and widening sidewalks in several locations to improve safety and accessibility for residents.

During construction, portions of Truman Avenue will be designated as No Parking zones to allow crews to complete the work safely and efficiently. Village officials are asking residents to cooperate with the temporary parking restrictions, noting that the project is being carried out for the benefit and safety of the entire community.
