Early Friday morning, two suspects broke into Pharmacy Plus on Route 45 in New Square, smashing the front door with a crowbar and rock.
Once inside, they rummaged through the aisles and checked the empty register before being scared off by the alarm.
Ramapo Police arrived within a minute of the alarm being triggered, but the suspects had already fled.
Authorities say the investigation into the burglary is ongoing.
