New Square Holds First-Ever Village Community Services Day Today

The Village of New Square is hosting a Village Community Services Day today, Thursday, bringing a range of essential government and community services directly to local residents.

The event is aimed at making routine services more accessible by allowing residents to take care of important matters locally. Among the services available today are on-site Department of Motor Vehicles assistance, enabling residents to address DMV-related needs without traveling outside the village or waiting in long lines elsewhere.

Also on site is the mobile constituent services office of Assemblyman Aron Wieder, providing residents with direct access to state-level assistance. Representatives from the American Red Cross, voter registration officials, and staff from the New York State Comptroller’s Office are also available to assist.

Residents who scheduled passport appointments in advance are able to complete the passport process on location.

The Village Community Services Day is taking place today at the New Square Village Headquarters on Reagan Road from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
