A single-car accident occurred Thursday at around 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of McNamara Road and East Willow Tree Road in New Hempstead, where a vehicle struck a utility pole.
Hatzoloh EMS and Ramapo Police responded to the scene. The driver sustained minor injuries. No other vehicles were involved.
Crews temporarily blocked off the area as they assessed the damage and cleared the scene. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
