A vehicle lost control and crashed into a property gate at the intersection of Union Road and Ivy Lane on Thursday at approximately 2:40 p.m.
Emergency personnel from the Hillcrest Fire Department responded swiftly and successfully extricated the driver, who was pinned inside the vehicle. Both the driver and a passenger sustained injuries and were treated on scene by Spring Hill EMS.
Ramapo Police also responded to the incident. Fortunately, no pedestrians or individuals outside the vehicle were injured. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
