This past Tuesday during Parashas Kedoshim, the Skverer chassidus held a historic “Lehachayos” gathering. Here, they established a crucial fund to support Almanos and Yesomim if needed. Thousands of Skverer Chassidim across the U.S. and Canada united to pledge specific donations for Yesomim, ensuring that funds will be immediately available in times of need, avoiding distressing special campaigns.
During the event, the Skverer Rebbe Shlita delivered a special bracha through the Skverer Dayan Harav Yosef Yisroel Eisenberger Shlita. The Skverer Dayan from Lakewood and the Rav of the new organization Harav Avraham Spitzer Shlita introduced the project, and event chairman Reb Avrohom Yosef Gordon led a panel discussion with Reb Ephraim Bernstein of the Bobover “Haben Yekir” organization.
In the coming months, more events will take place in Skverer centers to extend this initiative, offering everyone the opportunity to participate in this blessing of life and peace.
