New Commuter Ferry Terminal Opens in Haverstraw

Rockland County has officially opened a new commuter ferry terminal in Haverstraw, enhancing transportation options for residents and visitors. County Executive Ed Day joined the ribbon-cutting ceremony, celebrating the project’s completion.

The terminal, made possible through the vision and investment of Martin Ginsburg and Ginsburg Development Companies, aims to improve connectivity and quality of life for commuters in the region.

  1. Huh? The ferry is the best way to get to New York City.Once you board in Haverstraw, it takes you to Ossining, N.Y., taking the train to Grand Central. I have been using it for over 14 years.
