Firefighters and other emergency personnel rushed to the scene of a structure fire on Buena Vista Road near New Hempstead Road on Wednesday evening. Initially reported as an alarm, the incident was soon upgraded to a structure fire, prompting a swift response from multiple agencies.
Crews worked efficiently to bring the blaze under control, and no injuries were reported.
Among the agencies on scene were the New City Fire Department, West Nyack Fire Department, Hillcrest Fire Department, Clarkstown Police Department, New City EMS, and Rockland Paramedics.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
