NEW CITY: Firefighters Battle Blaze in Frigid Weather on Burgundy Lane; Residents Treated for Smoke Inhalation

Emergency personnel responded to a working structure fire at 1 Burgundy Lane near Grand Street in New City early this morning. The fire, which reportedly began at the rear of the residence, broke out at approximately 2:15 a.m. Firefighters from the New City, Central, and West Nyack Fire Departments battled the blaze, with the scene remaining active until about 3:50 a.m.

Spring Hill EMS and the Clarkstown Police Department were also present, providing support and medical assistance. Several residents are being treated for smoke inhalation, according to initial reports.

In freezing temperatures, emergency personnel demonstrated exceptional dedication and efficiency in tackling the incident.
