New City EMS Member and FDNY Firefighter Injured in Bronx Explosion Recovering

As first reported by our parent outlet, Yeshiva World News seven FDNY firefighters were injured Wednesday after a car explosion in the Bronx.

Among the injured was Dan Hanlon of Rockland County, who recently graduated from the FDNY Academy just last month. Hanlon, who also serves as an EMT with New City Volunteer Ambulance Corps, suffered second-degree burns to his face during the incident.

He was transported to the hospital, treated, and has since been released. Hanlon is expected to make a full recovery.
