NEW CITY: Driver Injured After Overnight Rollover Crash on West Clarkstown Road

A single-vehicle rollover crash occurred early Sunday morning at approximately 3:15 a.m. at the intersection of West Clarkstown Road and Red Hill Road after the vehicle struck an electric pole.

Clarkstown Police, Hillcrest Fire Department, New City EMS, and Rockland Paramedics responded to the scene.

Firefighters worked for roughly 45 minutes to extricate the driver, who was conscious and alert when freed. Injuries were reported.
